Terry has held a number of global senior strategic health and social welfare positions in both private and public sectors. Terry was the UK Government Senior Advisor on social policy and digital strategy, leading the transformation of service delivery and technology adoption. He also headed up a social policy research global think tank, providing health and human services thought leadership. Terry is a former Director of the social health and human services technology start-up, Cúram Software. Based in Ireland, Cúram’s global presence and market leadership led to IBM acquiring the company in 2011. Terry holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Cambridge University, a first class honors degree in Economics also from Cambridge University, and a Masters of Science in Business Information Technology from Newcastle University. Her Majesty the Queen honored Terry with the Most   Distinguished Order of St. Michael and St. George (CMG), for his service overseas in relation to his role with British Intelligence.

Dr. Chitra Dorai

Chitra is responsible for Cognitive Solutions and Services in IBM's Global Business Services as its CTO. She has received numerous awards and recognition both externally and at IBM for her groundbreaking research and client-facing work in Banking, Financial Markets and Media & Entertainment industries over the last twenty-five years. She was a recipient of IBM’s highest honor in 2011, the Gerstner Award for Client Excellence, was recognised as an IBM Distinguished Engineer in 2012, and was appointed as an IBM Fellow, the company's highest technical honor in 2015. Her work on customer focused analytics in mortgage servicing helped thousands of struggling home owners through home ownership retention programs during one of the most challenging times in the history of the U.S. housing market. In 2014, Chitra received the Tamil American Pioneer Award for Excellence in Finance and Business from the Federation of Tamil Sangams of North America.

Chitra graduated from IIT Madras with an undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering and received her Ph.D. in Computer Science at Michigan State University with the Distinguished Academic Achievement Award. She has co-authored 100+ technical papers in IEEE and ACM conferences and journals, edited a book and received 5 best paper awards at international conferences. She is also the co-inventor of more than 45 patents and has been recognized as a Master Inventor thrice. Chitra is frequently interviewed on a wide variety of topics from cognitive computing, Big Data, social media analytics to mortgage risk management and continuous process improvement.

Hugh Riminton

Few Australians have seen more of the world or witnessed more momentous events than Hugh Riminton.

He has reported from some 50 countries. He has covered every major military engagement by Australian Defence Forces since 1990, including Somalia, Rwanda, East Timor, the Solomon Islands, Iraq and Afghanistan.

He has interviewed every Australian Prime Minister since Gough Whitlam, regularly clashing heads on programs like the Nine Network’s NIGHTLINE, and TEN’s MEET THE PRESS. In one interview for CNN, he made Colin Powell, the former US Secretary of State, cry.

Wherever there has been big news, Hugh has been on the frontline, for CNN, Channel Nine and Network TEN. He has been blown up, shot at, thrown in jail, and threatened with deportation. He once bought 876 slaves from African traders, to set them free.

Throughout it all, he has maintained the sense of humour and perspective that has seen him a regular host of TEN’s alternative news show THE PROJECT, and as an in-demand guest on THE CHASER’S MEDIA CIRCUS and AM and FM radio.

He has won every Australian journalism award worth winning, as well as the prestigious DuPont-Columbia Award in New York, and the Asian Television Award (twice) for Best News Program in Asia as presenter of CNN TODAY.

His memoir “MINEFIELDS: A LIFE IN THE NEWS GAME” is due out this year through Hachette.

Ian Jackman

Ian has a dual degree in Engineering and Computer Science from the University of Melbourne, and a Diploma in Project Management.  Before joining Bendigo and Adelaide Bank in 2009, Ian spent 15 years in industry and consulting roles across project management, business strategy, information management and customer experience.  This included working within and supporting large companies such as Orica, Pitcher Partners, Telstra Super, Medibank, RACV, and VicRoads amongst others, and 3 years working in London for ICI.

 Drawn to its customer centred culture, Ian joined the Bank to initially work on, and subsequently lead as Program Director, the implementation of an enterprise CRM platform, single customer view and customer master data solution.  In early 2014, Ian moved into the role of Head of Customer Insights, evolving the enterprise capabilities around customer analytics.  In late 2015, Ian became the Head of Customer Voice reporting into the Chief Customer Officer and responsible for customer feedback management, customer analytics and insight, voice of customer, and market research.

Ian’s particular passion and focus is around leveraging customer voice, data, technology, and people to deliver exceptional customer experiences and outcomes .  Based in the Macedon Ranges in regional Victoria with his family of 3 daughters, Ian works predominantly out of the Bendigo and Melbourne offices.

Chris Howard

Chris Howard holds the position of CTO Digital Strategy within IBM's consulting services, based in Sydney, Australia. Chris draws on his 20+ years of experience, creating and delivering complex technology solutions, to driving transformative digital strategies through the exploitation of emerging technologies, masses of data and leveraging agile / dev-ops practices.

In his previous role, Chris held the position of Technical Leader & Chief Architect for Big Data and Analytics at IBM Asia Pacific. In this position, Chris gained extensive experience in delivering data driven solutions for clients across the region with a heavy focus across data strategy, data monetization, big data platforms, real-time / continuous analysis, advanced analytics / Cognitive and Internet of Things applications.

Prior to moving to Australia, Chris was jointly responsible for defining the strategy and leading the early stage incubation of several IBM missions including IBM Smarter Cities Technology Centre, EMEA Stream Computing Centre, EMEA Cloud Lab, and the Dublin Innovation Centre.

He is passionate about innovative and emerging technology, enjoys taking on a client challenge, and still likes to get his “hands dirty”.

Jacqueline Korhonen

Jackie commenced her career as an engineer at IBM, and progressed from a technical customer service role to become a Vice President. Her career has taken her across the globe, building partnerships with clients across Australia, Singapore, China, and more.

Prior to her return to IBM in 2016, Jackie held senior leadership positions as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of SMS Management & Technology, an ASX listed Consulting and IT Services company; and Senior Vice President and Country Head Australia/New Zealand for Infosys, an $8 billion global leader in consulting, technology and outsourcing.

Jackie is a University of Sydney alumna, receiving dual degrees in Science and Engineering. She completed studies at Harvard Business School and is also a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. Jackie previously served on the board of SMS Management & Technology and also served as a national board member for the Australian Information Industry Association (AIIA), the peak body representing the IT industry in Australia.

She lives in Sydney with her husband and son. She is a keen runner and enjoys hitting the slopes and skiing during the winter.

Mark is leading the development of blockchain standards with the International Standards Organisation (ISO) blockchain and Distributed Ledger Technology technical committee. Mark is an active mentor in the Fintech ecosystem.

Mark currently chairs the Financial Services group within the Australian Information Industry Association (AIIA) and has published thought leadership papers on technology themes including: The role of data, Customer Service in a digital bank and blockchain. As a student who was always fascinated with how things work, Danny originally commenced his career as a plumber and soon after became involved with the design, development and distribution of a purpose-built solar system for the Australian and Asian markets.
