Application Management Services (AMS) of IBM China Global delivery promotes the use of Global Resource across the different countries through the compliance and institutionalization of the delivery excellence processes and practices, client relationship development and responsive fulfillment of GR demands. The business targets of AMS were accomplished via the leveraging of the synergy across the multiple lines of business and the best practices from IBM worldwide competency organizations. To sustain the level of growth with expected delivery quality, AMS strictly follows a core set of performance indicators and focuses on continuous improvement to avoid critical situations and its escalations. In addition, AMS plays an important role in enhancing the organization capability through focused resource development and mentoring.

The Strategic Outsourcing Business Unit (SO) is dedicated to providing remote monitoring and management of servers. This includes the entire spectrum of server types including mainframe, midrange and Wintel. The team supports the operating systems, database systems and individual products that run on these platforms. From an operation perspective, we provide console management and job scheduling as well as security compliance checking, which are all closely aligned to the global competencies such as SSO and the other Delivery competencies.

Business Transformation Outsourcing (BTO) combines business and industry acumen and process knowledge with proven technologies. This emerging model is changing the way we consult form a simply tool for reducing IT costs to strategically focused and comprehensive management of an increasing variety of business processes.

Business transformation outsourcing enables companies to take advantage of the latest process and systems design thinking allied to "traditional" IT outsourcing services while keeping their core business systems up-to-date without needing to make huge upfront capital investments.

>>ContactCenter

The center provides Telecoverage support to Hong Kong customers. The center also provides Telesales, Marketing Campaign support, ITS and SO services to both Hong Kong and China customers. This center, together with our existing ContactCenter facilities in Beijing and Taipei will provide effective sales & marketing coverage, technical support, and services to our customers in Greater China Group (GCG). To support the accelerated growth of IBM China and GCG, we have built the new Shenzhen center with lots of growth capacity, the Center will be able to handle both consolidation and growth requirements in the coming years.
