Students
The prime objective of IBM's Internship Program is to provide a positive experience for students, allowing them to develop their skills in appropriate and challenging roles.
While IBM does not guarantee a graduate offer upon completion of an internship placement, our intention is to offer graduate employment to our top interns after they graduate. Completing an internship allows students the opportunity to obtain real life practical on the job experience. When seeking graduate roles, interns have the added advantage of boasting both education and "real experience" on their resume.
Interns are placed in IBM full time for more than 10 weeks of placements and we have intakes all year round. We select our interns based on current university performance, aptitude and potential. During your Internship with IBM you will perform "real work". We also encourage interns to build "business networks" which they can use after graduation.
Type of Internships at IBM:
Our internship roles do not only include technical roles but can also be within our Marketing, Finance, Business and Human Resource teams. Therefore we consider students from all disciplines. Since we hire "On Demand" the types of internships we have in each intake can vary.
Our Internships are full time placements.
