Ullrich Loeffler, Country Manager, IDC New Zealand

Ullrich Loeffler

Ullrich Loeffler is the Country Manager for IDC New Zealand. Prior to moving into this position, Ullrich spent 3 years in IDC's software team across Australia and New Zealand, where he provided ongoing analysis on software trends in the South Pacific Region.

Most recently, Ullrich held the role of Program Manager Software where he was responsible for the management, coordination and further development of the software research programs across Australia and New Zealand. In addition, Ullrich took over the Program Manager role for the New Zealand Services business in 2008.

In his current position of Country Manager, Ullrich is responsible for the overall business management and the ongoing development of consulting engagements, strategic analysis, product development and business planning advisory services to IDC clients across the full range of ICT platforms.

During his time at IDC, Ullrich has been a regular speaker at IDC and industry events across Australia and New Zealand and he is frequently quoted in IT and trade publications throughout the Asia/Pacific region.

Prior to joining IDC, Ullrich worked in project management for sales and marketing for several international companies in Germany and New Zealand.

Ullrich holds a masters degree in Business/Economics with majors in Industrial Economics, Industrial Management and Marketing.

Ron Ercanbrack , Vice President/General Manager IBM Enterprise Content Management , IBM

Ron Ercanbrack

Ron Ercanbrack is the Vice President/General Manager IBM's Enterprise Content Management (ECM) business. As the senior executive for the segment, Ercanbrack heads the company's development, marketing, sales, client support and consulting services organisations to promote growth through a strong customer-centric strategy. He is responsible for the IBM ECM portfolio of products through both direct and indirect channels

A 19-year veteran of IBM, Ercanbrack re-joined the company in 2006, as part of its acquisition of FileNet Corporation, a leading provider of ECM solutions, where he served as President of the company. Serving for 10 years at FileNet, Ercanbrack held various senior sales and marketing positions including that of Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing, and helped expand the company's customer base to more than 4,300 worldwide.

In his previous career at IBM, Ercanbrack held a variety of positions in planning, manufacturing, engineering, logistics, sales, marketing, and professional services, most recently serving as Vice President, worldwide sales of the Networking Division. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from the University of Texas, and a Master's degree in Business Administration from the University of Arizona.

Mark Register, Vice President, IBM Information on Demand, Asia Pacific

Mark Register

Mark Register was appointed Vice President of Information on Demand, Asia Pacific in January 2008. In this role he is responsible for the overall growth of IBM's Information on Demand (IOD) initiative and the success of the Cognos software company integration into IBM within the AP region. He is the executive leader for the IOD and Information Agenda program in AP, driving sales, marketing and strategy across IBM to enable customers to leverage their information to drive business value. He also leads several cross IBM worldwide initiatives working directly for the General Manager of Information Management.

Prior to this role he was VP Worldwide Marketing, Information Management and he led the Leveraging Information marketing program on an IBM wide basis. In that role Mr. Register's primary role was to develop and direct the integrated marketing strategies that drive global marketing programs for the Information Management division to support and enhance sales, and to develop, direct and manage all internal and outbound positioning, messaging and communications.

Immediately prior to that role Mr. Register was leading the Go To Market and channel marketing functions for Information Management. Mark Register joined IBM and was appointed Vice President, Marketing, IBM Information Integration Solutions, in May 2005. Prior to the IBM acquisition of Ascential Software, Mr. Register served as chief marketing officer and vice president of industry solutions and global alliances for Ascential.

Mr. Register joined Ascential from Mercator Software, where he was executive vice president and president, worldwide field operations responsible for all sales, services and customer care. Prior to that role, Mr. Register was Mercator's president international and president for Asia Pacific. Mr. Register brings with him a wealth of IT experience, having served as vice president, application services for Computer Sciences Corporation (Australia), as well as in a variety of senior executive positions with GE Capital, IT Solutions, including general manager, systems integration and managed services, and integration and quality leader.

Mr. Register graduated from Curtin University of Technology in Perth Western Australia and attended Auckland University of Technology.

David Caldeira, Product Marketing Executive, Enterprise Content Management, IBM

David Caldeira

David Caldeira is the product marketing executive for IBM's Enterprise Content Management (ECM) segment. In this role, he guides ECM segment strategy to deliver the most comprehensive and unified Content Management and Business Process Management platform in the market.

Mr Caldeira joined IBM last year as part of the company's acquisition of FileNet, Corp., a leading provider of ECM solutions. During his five years at FileNet, Caldeira held a variety of marketing management positions and was responsible for bringing the market-leading IBM FileNet P8 platform to market.

Mr Caldeira has more than 27 years of experience in the enterprise software and professional services industries. Prior to joining FileNet, he was vice president, business development and strategy at enhansiv, inc., a CRM Application Service Provider (ASP). Before enhansiv, Caldeira held successive management positions for more than ten years at Information Management Associates, Inc. (IMA). Prior to IMA he held successive management positions at Andersen Consulting.

Mr Caldeira holds a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Connecticut.

Laurence Leong, Program Director, Compliance in Enterprise Content Management (ECM), IBM

Laurence Leong

Laurence Leong is currently Program Director, Compliance in the IBM Enterprise Content Management (ECM) unit of IBM Software Group. In this role, Laurence leads the product marketing and strategy team for Compliance, which includes content collection and archiving, records management, SAP archiving, and SAP and storage connectors.

Laurence also works very closely with related teams for eDiscovery and Governance, Risk and Compliance spaces. Laurence previously led a team focused on IBM ECM solution strategy and business development in government, health care and life sciences and for cross-industry solutions such as Information Lifecycle Management.

Prior to that role, Laurence was the Global Alliance Executive for Siebel in IBM Information Management. Laurence has been in the software industry for over eighteen years, with experience as a DB2 database administrator, programmer, development and product manager, channel / alliances manager and business development manager.

Glenn Williamson, WW ECM Technical Team, Consulting IT Specialist, IBM

Glenn Williamson

Glenn is a Certified Information Technology Specialist with over 19 years experience working in the ECM Market . He works with various organisations to successfully plan, develop and implement enterprise-scale ECM solutions around the world.

In his current role as World Wide Consulting Specialist with ECM software group at IBM he is responsible for working with the sales team and customers to craft the right ECM strategy and solutions as well as providing Technical Sales Coaching/Mentoring, solution design and architecture.
