    Detective Superintendent Brad Marden, High Tech Crime Operations, Australian Federal Police

    Brad joined the Australian Federal Police in 1986 and has held a number of roles including Intelligence Specialist and Computer Programmer; Team Leader of the People Smuggling Intelligence Team; Team Leader of the Australian High Tech Crime Centre; member of the joint AFP and Philippines Police Counter-Terrorism Team; and Coordinator of Transnational Crime Intelligence. In his current role, Brad leads the teams that investigate computer intrusions and related offences involving computer networks that have been identified as being of national interest.

    James Turner, Advisor, Intelligent Business Research Services (IBRS)

    James is a recognised expert in IT security analysis in the Australian and New Zealand markets. He specialises in the analysis of cloud, information security, data centres and mobility strategies. Before joining IBRS in 2007, James was Frost & Sullivan's industry analyst for IT security. He has also worked as a UNIX system administrator, a hosted infrastructure manager and customer relationship manager.

    Michael Montecillo, IBM Security Services Threat Research and Intelligence Principal

    Michael has more than eight years' experience working in information security in the United States, with a focus on threat trend research. He has served as a Senior Threat Researcher on the X-Force Threat Analysis team, and previously acted as a vulnerability management coordinator and forensic investigator for US state governments. Prior to that, Michael worked as a consultant and principal security analyst for a US-based industry analysis firm. He has won two state police awards for professional excellence and has published more than 30 research articles.

    Glen Gooding, Director, Institute for Advanced Security, IBM Asia Pacific

    Glen brings more than 22 years of industry experience to the IBM team, having held business and development leadership roles in Australia and in the United States. Glen is an IBM Certified Executive IT Specialist and an Open Group Distinguished IT Specialist. Before his promotion to Director, Glen was the Security Solution Leader for IBM Asia Pacific, and the Australia Development Laboratory Security Services Practice Lead.

    Matthew Johnson, Senior Technical Staff Member, Office of the IBM CIO

    Matthew Johnson is a Senior Technical Staff Member in the office of IBM's Global CIO. He enjoys solving customers' business issues though the entirety of the lifecycle, from the statement of the business problem through to final delivery of a solution. As a member of the CIO's core management team, Matthew is currently building a mobile device management system that connects the different devices used at IBM including Android phones, iPhones, Macs and Linux-based systems, while maintaining the highest-possible levels of security.
