Terms and Conditions for IBM's win a $1000 Flight Centre Voucher
Competition at 2009 SOA in Action Seminar Series (the Promotion)

  1. Information on how to enter this Promotion and prize details form part of these terms and conditions of entry (Terms). These Terms apply to the Promotion and entry into the Promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms.
  2. The Promoter is IBM Australia Limited, Level 10, 601 Pacific Highway, St Leonards, Sydney, NSW, 2065 (Promoter).
  3. The Promotion will be open from 08:00 a.m. Australian Eastern Daylight Savings Time (AEDST) on 11 May 2009 and will close at 11:00 a.m. AEDST on 27 November 2009 (Promotion Period).
  4. Entry is open to Australian residents 18 years and older and who are:
  5. To enter, Eligible Entrants must during the Promotion Period, attend a minimum of two out of the four SOA in Action events in Canberra throughout 2009.
  6. Eligible Entrants are automatically entered into the Promotion.
  7. At 11:00 a.m. AEST on 2 December 2009 at the IBM office a representative of the Promoter will conduct a random manual prize draw from all Eligible Entries (Draw).
  8. The first valid Eligible Entry drawn will win the Prize.
  9. The Prize is one Flight Centre Travel Voucher valued at $1000.00 (RRP) (including GST) (Prize)
  10. The winner of the Draw will be announced at the IBM office immediately following the Draw. The winner will be notified by phone by 3 December 2009. Deliveries only within Australia.
  11. If the winner does not claim the Prize within 3 months of the Draw, a random manual re-draw for the Prize will be conducted at 12:45 p.m. AEDST on 3 March 2010 by a representative of the Promoter at Level 10, 601 Pacific Highway, St Leonards, Sydney, NSW, 2065 (Re-Draw). The Re-Draw winner will be notified by phone and the prize sent by 4 March 2010. Deliveries only within Australia.
  12. The Prize is not transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash. In the event that the Promoter is unable to supply the Prize, the Promoter reserves the right to supply an alternative prize of similar monetary value. All tax liabilities and other costs associated with or arising from winning the Prize are the responsibility of the Prize winner.
  13. The Promoter's decisions in relation to any aspect of the Promotion are final and binding on each person who enters and no correspondence will be entered into.
  14. The details of each Eligible Entrant will be entered into a database and the Promoter may use entrants' names and addresses for future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes unless otherwise advised by the Eligible Entrant by calling the Promoter on 132 426. Entrants can request access to or correction of their details by contacting the Promoter on 132 426.

The Promoter will not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for personal injury which is suffered or sustained in connection with this Promotion or as a result of accepting or using the Prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
