Speaker Biographies
Richard Wilkins

Richard Wilkins - Automation

Richard is a Consulting IT Specialist, with 19 years experience within IBM. He specializes in providing architecture designs and deploying solutions using products from the Tivoli Brand portfolio, In the year 2000 he was appointed to an Asia Pacific role, and moved to Singapore. After which he as has worked with many major customers through out AP, to ensure they have successful deployments of their Tivoli Products. He also provides mentoring to many of the local country deployment teams and assists them in successful completion of projects involving Tivoli products.

His speciality is the Automation Products within the Tivoli Brand, not limited to, but including ITCAM, TEC, ITM and TPM.

Julius Wahidin

Julius Wahidin - Network Management

Julius Wahidin is a Netcool instructor with over 20 years of experience in the computer, communications and networking industry.

Julius had involved in the design and implementation of VSAT, radio link, and numerous IP delivery. He had setup a VoIP service provider as well as involved in the commissioning of Fixed Wireless Broadband system.

Jonathan Shaw

Jonathan Shaw - Network Managemen

Jonathan's has 10 years experience in the software industry. Before joining IBM, Jonathan worked for Micromuse Ltd in London contributing to the development of the core Netcool product suite including Omnibus and Webtop. He has been involved with various deployments of the Netcool Suite around the world including those for large-scale Telecommunications providers, Invertment Banks and the UK Ministry of Defence. Jonathan was Engineering Director of the Netcool Dashboards group before returning to Australia and joining IBM as a pre-sales specialist.

James (Jimmy) Darwin - Security

"After completing post graduate studies in computer science at University of Queensland James worked as a software developer for an Australian company who produced communication cards and devices for the PC market. For the next 10 years he focused on the implementation of Tivoli Security Management products. He initially worked in the development organisation as a customer focused engineer servicing customers across Asia Pacific. He then spent 6 years as the principal security consultant for the European Tivoli Services organisation, working out of London servicing customer across Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Currently he works as the Tivoli Security Practice Leader in Software Group Lab Services organisation Asia Pacific."

Kirk Nesbitt - Automation

Kirk Nesbitt, Asia Pacific ITSM Practice Leader, IBM Software Group

Kirk Nesbitt is the leader for IT Service Management within IBM's Software Services team in Asia Pacific. He is responsible for region wide enablement in service management tools and techniques. Kirk also works as a subject matter expert providing guidance and support across IBM Software Services projects in this space. Kirk has skills and experience with ITIL and utilises these skills as part of his involvement with the Tivoli Assessment Program.

Kirk has extensive experience with Business Service Management and has been performing engagements in this area for the last four years, predominantly in the banking and insurance industries.

Mike Griese - Storage

Mike Griese is the World Wide Technical Support Manager for TotalStorage Productivity Center. Mike's career started in 1983 with IBM after obtaining a BS EE from the University of Missouri - Rolla. Mike has worked on all aspects of storage devices in his career, from controller firmware, hardware design, architecture, RAID array design, storage management software development and development management.

Bob Bennett - Storage

Robert is a Senior IT and is part of the AP Tivoli Storage Management Global Response Team (GRT), IBM Asia Pacific Support working with the Tivoli Storage Manager products. He has been with IBM since 1988. Initially Robert worked as Systems engineer supporting DB2, CICS and IMS. Since 1997, Robert has provided regional support roles for the ADSM and TSM products. As a key member in the IBM AP Global Response Team (GRT) which is part of the Tivoli Asia-Pacific Support Team, Robert has vast experience in TSM design reviews, implementation technical assistance and post-deployment assessment.

Steve Mann

Steve Mann Storage

Steve Mann is a Software Consultant in the IBM Australian Development Labs. He primarily focuses on the Tivoli storage family of products. Steve has over 18 years of experience in the IT industry and 10 years working in IBM software services. Steve has over 8 years experience with Tivoli Storage Manager (TSM) on cross platforms. He is also a Certified Tivoli Storage Manager consultant. He also provides planning and implementation services for customers and has also coauthored a number of IBM redbooks.

Pádraig Byrne - Network Management

Pádraig Byrne is a Tivoli Netcool Specialist for IBM Australia. He has seven years of experience working with telco and network management software. Pádraig is a co author of an IBM Redbook on Migrating from Tivoli Netview to Precision IP. Prior to joining the pre-sales team in Australia he worked with the Precision development team in London. His areas of expertise include networks, Precision and the Netcool suite. He holds a degree in Mathematics from the University of Cambridge.

Ratan Sanjay - Network Management

Ratan is the leader for Network Management Practice within IBM's Software Services team in Asia Pacific. Ratan is a OSS / Network Management domain expert providing guidance and support across IBM Software Services projects in this space. He also provides mentoring to the regional IBM services teams and guides them in successful completion of projects involving Tivoli Network Management solutions.

Ratan has a very rich and extensive experience with OSS , Network Management and has been providing leadership on large scale , complex telco projects working with some of the largest telco’s in the region successfully. He is based in India

Subbu Cherukuwada - Security

Subbu Cherukuwada is working as Senior Technical Specialist in IBM Software Lab Services, Melbourne. He has completed Masters in Information Security from RMIT University, Melbourne. He is GIAC Security Essentials Certified (GSEC Gold) and has more than 13 years of IT industry experience. Subbu is specialised in the design and implementation of Tivoli Security Software products and he has worked at national and regional levels. He has co-authored the Redbook "Identity and Access Management Solutions Using WebSphere Portal V5.1, Tivoli Identity Manager V4.5.1, and Tivoli Access Manager V5.1".
