Jim Fletcher is an IBM Distinguished Engineer focused on the Internet of Things. Jim holds nearly 50 patents, has published more than 60 articles in technical journals and has co-authored three books. He is an IBM Master Inventor and member of the IBM Technical Academy. With over 22 years of experience in the banking and telecommunications industries, Bharat is a recognized leader in the risk management and governance community. He was named “Security Leader of the Year” in December 2014 by Data Security Council of India (DSCI) for his significant contribution to cyber security in the banking sector, and “Information Security Meastro-2015” by INFOSECURITYLIVE.COM in April 2015. As Founder and Director of the Institute of Payment Risk Council (IPRC), Bharat is committed to improving fraud management and information security in banks across India.

An IT and telecom industries veteran, Sanjiv has over 35 years of cross-functional experience in companies like IBM and Wipro. He took on the challenge of furthering the cause of e-Governance in India by taking over as CEO of NISG in 2009. NISG is helping various ministries and departments in their e-Gov areas. Sanjiv is also actively involved in mentoring young and emerging technology companies.

In a career spanning more than 34 years, Kajal Ghose has held various important positions in SBI, some of which include Chief General Manager, Lucknow Circle; General Manager (Alternate Channels & New Business), Corporate Centre, Mumbai; and Deputy General Manager, Rural Banking Non-Farm sector. In his current role, he is driving the analytics and social media initiatives of the bank as well as looking after operational areas of enterprise data warehousing, IT budgeting and cost control.

Senior Manager, Knowledge Engineering and Data Platforms, IBM Research

Dr. L Venkata Subramaniam was born in New Delhi, India. He received the Ph. D. degree in Electronics from the Indian Institute of Technology, New Delhi. He joined IBM Research India in 1998 where he is a Senior Manager leading a team of world-class researchers developing the next generation knowledge engineering and big data technologies. He has over 20 issued patents and has published over 100 papers at leading research conferences in the areas of machine learning and artificial intelligence. He is a member of the IBM Academy of Technology and an IBM Master Inventor.

Steve is responsible for architecting business intelligence and data warehousing (BI & DW) solutions based upon IBM Data Platform technology for customers who are interested in advanced analytics. He was previously the Chief Technology Officer for EMC Pivotal and has over 23 years of experience in the area of business intelligence, advanced analytics and data warehousing. Steve is an accomplished presenter and has been a keynote speaker at many industry events including OpenWorld conferences and iDevelop conferences worldwide.

Prashant runs IBM’s Watson Business for India and South Asia, and has had stints in IBM Global Services and IBM Research. He joined IBM in 2001 as a Research Scientist at IBM’s Thomas J. Watson Research Center in New York, after completing his PhD in Computer Science from State University of New York, Stony Brook.
