Pramod Varma is the Chief Architect and Technology Advisor for the Aadhaar project, where he is responsible for the entire system architecture and all strategic technology decisions. He joined UIDAI in 2009 as part of the founding team and has been pivotal in ensuring that an open, scalable, and secure architecture is built to meet the needs of Aadhaar. He is also the CTO for EkStep, a not-for-profit, learner-centric, technology-enabled platform that aims to improve applied literacy and numeracy. In addition, he sits on the technology advisory board of the National Payment Corporation (NPCI), Goods and Services Tax Network (GSTN), and is part of many public initiatives as a volunteer for iSpirt.

Adam is an IBM Fellow and CTO for the Analytics Platform & Cloud Data Services organization. He joined IBM in 2014 via the acquisition of Cloudant, where he built a highly available, scalable database and drove the development of the systems required to offer the database as a service. Adam’s record of open source contributions and leadership in the NoSQL and cloud services communities includes numerous publications and conference presentations. Adam received his Ph.D. in Physics from MIT in 2010 where he studied the gluon’s contribution to the spin structure of the proton. He lives in the Boston area with his wife and three young daughters.

He is a graduate from Reading University where he studied computer science and electronics engineering and is currently an active board member of the technology investment group for Southampton University.

Currently, as a Cloud DE, Girish leads IBM Mobile Platform Architecture & Development and works closely with customers around the globe. He regularly connects with CIOs of several large enterprises around the globe helping shape their strategy using IBM MobileFirst. Girish has been awarded number of prestigious IBM awards, including twice Best Of IBM (2014, 2016) for his accomplishments in Mobile and Cloud areas. As a Mobility industry thought leader, Girish is a prolific speaker in number of industry conferences across the globe. He has several external publications, blogs and technology magazine articles to his credit.
