Magesh Rajamani, Master Inventor and Solution Architect, IBM India Watson Delivery team

Magesh is a Master Inventor and Solution Architect in IBM India Watson Delivery team. He works on implementing solutions using various Watson offerings. He also conducts hackathons and awareness sessions for IBM customers, universities and within IBM on Watson technologies and services. He has 11 patents issued by US patent office in his name. He did his bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Communications from College of Engineering (Guindy), Anna University, India.

Sachin Shrestha, Production Technology Supervisor, Prana Studios

Sachin started off in Prana as an artist back in 2005 as a Lighting artist. His technical bent of mind led him to explore other creative departments within the studio ranging from scripts and shader development to large scale environment distribution, simulation and pipeline development. This unique mix of a creative production background coupled with more technical roles on projects saw him moving into the Technology Supervisor role to help the studio further its goals.

Some notable projects he has been a key member of are – Disney Planes 1 and 2, The Marvel Experience, Bombay Velvet, Byomkesh Bakshy, Skull Island: Reign of Kong and Game of Thrones.

Dane Anderson, VP, Research Director and Region Manager at Forrester

Dane serves CIOs and leads an Asia Pacific team that guides business technology professionals across various roles including Sourcing & Vendor Management, Application Development & Delivery, Security & Risk Management, Infrastructure & Operations, and Enterprise Architecture. Dane provides strategic guidance and advice to clients in the areas of organization design, innovation, emerging technologies, and supporting business technology operations in Asia Pacific markets. His research focuses on helping clients mature from an IT-centric role in their organizations to a business-embedded one.

Dane was both the cofounder and the CEO of Springboard Research (which Forrester acquired in May 2011), where he oversaw the business and all research activities.

Rohit Kumar Cherukuri, Strategy Advisory Consultant – Social Analytics/Consumer Insights, Global Client Innovation Center, IBM India

With over 12 years of experience in Strategic management, Digital consulting and marketing, Rohit provides recommendations for CXO’s across sectors such as IT, TMT, Retail, BFSI and Healthcare which help steer their corporate strategy. Some of his key prior engagements and accomplishments include leading strategic initiatives in India for a South African based mobile app company - Mxit, which has more than 50 million users and setting up digital roadmap and marketing initiatives for the newly formed Deloitte Analytics team.

Arun Kumar Parameswaran, Managing Director, VMware India

Arun is the Managing Director for VMware India and is responsible for growing the sales and marketing operations in the country. He is also oversees VMware’s strategic partnerships and alliances with channel partners in the country.

With over than 22 years of hi-tech experience across Asia Pacific and the US, Parameswaran was previously GM in charge of Red Hat’s business throughout the Indian sub-continent before joining VMware in April 2014.

Parameswaran attended the Thiagarajar College of Engineering at Madurai Kamaraj University and holds a Bachelor of Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering.

Vamsicharan Mudiam, Senior Cloud Advisor Leader, IBM

Vamsicharan Mudiam (Vamsi), is IBM's Senior Cloud Advisor Leader in India. He is responsible for nurturing Cloud business by a constant engagement with the CxO community across customer segments. As an advisor, he works to present an unbiased view of where Cloud as a consumption model is heading and marrying it with a holistic picture of IBM Cloud offerings/strategy, thereby, helping clients with their cloud adoption roadmaps.

Vamsi has been with IBM for the last 15 years, with first 9+ years spent as part of India Software Lab, leading product development efforts across a wide variety of IBM Middleware.

K S Gopalakrishnan, Managing Director & CEO, Aegon Life Insurance Company Limited

K S Gopalakrishnan is the Managing Director & CEO of Aegon Life Insurance Company Limited. Prior to joining Aegon Life Insurance, he worked with Bharti AXA Life Insurance Company, initially as Appointed Actuary and later became the CFO of the company.

Gopalakrishnan has over twenty five years of experience in life insurance across markets such as India, Canada and Hong Kong. His accomplishments include pioneering concepts such as online Life Insurance, unit linked products with investment guarantees and free looks in India.

Gopalakrishnan holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics. He is a fellow member of the actuarial bodies of Canada, the UK and India. He is also an associate member of the Society of Actuaries (USA) and fellow member of the Insurance Institute of India.

Kaushik Bagchi, Vice President and Head - Digital Enterprise Platform Group, SAP India

Kaushik Bagchi is instrumental in supporting SAP's corporate strategy for the Platform Solution Group at SAP. He drives innovation and customer engagement, and delivers customer value across SAP's key technologies.

Kaushik brings with him breadth of knowledge and 22 years of proven sales experience across the IT services industry. Prior to joining SAP, Kaushik was driving the Architecture Engineering and Construction vertical for India and South Asia with Autodesk. Some of his key prior engagements include leading the information management business for IBM Software and developing the dealmaker team in IBM.

Kaushik is a Physics graduate and holds an MBA in marketing from Calcutta University. He is an avid reader and enjoys travelling during his leisure time.

Jayesh Shah, Executive Vice President & Head, Technology Initiatives, DHFL, Financial Services Group

Jayesh Shah is currently EVP & Head – Technology Initiatives at DHFL, a private sector housing finance company in India. In this role, he is responsible for driving the group's technology vision and be the agent of technological change within the organisation.

With over 30 years in the Information Technology industry, Jayesh has worked in the global arena, providing IT services to customers in diverse domains like hospitality, P&C insurance, medical insurance and UN grant management. As the head of IBM Interactive Experience, Suparna has set up and built for IBM a first of a kind, Digital Strategy and Experience Design practice that works at the intersection of Business, Design and Technology. She is also responsible for client engagement, advisory and delivery across Industries in Markets of US, Europe, EMEA, APAC as well as leads IBM Design Studios in India

With over 23 years of experience in managing marketing, brand, strategy portfolios and consulting practices, Suparna has extensive exposure in Telecom, Media & Entertainment, IT and CPG industries with companies in and outside India. She has led consulting for Digital Transformation & Customer Experience, building people, places and practices of IBM Design Thinking, Digital Marketing and Agile.

Bill Hartwick, Vice President, IBM Cloud

Bill has over 30 years of industry experience with companies ranging from early stage startups to the largest tech companies in the industry. He has leadership experience in development, marketing, sales, product management and program management. Prior to re-joining IBM in 2015, Bill spent 10 years at Citrix heading up Product Marketing and the Program Management office for the company’s Virtualization, Mobile and Cloud Business Unit - which drove the majority of the company’s revenue.

At IBM, Bill heads the Cloud Market Intel, Competitive and Analyst Relations function across the entire Cloud Business Unit.

Dr. Nataraj Nagaratnam, CTO, Cloud Security, IBM

Dr. Nataraj (Raj) Nagaratnam is an IBM Distinguished Engineer and Chief Technology Officer for IBM Cloud Security. In this role, Raj leads technical strategy and innovation in Cloud security across IBM Cloud platforms, and services. During his career at IBM, he has been CTO of Security Solutions for IBM Security products and services; also as chief architect, he has lead architectural efforts for security portfolio in identity and access management, and WebSphere platform. He has also been CTO for India Software Lab driving innovation and technology. He has authored and co-authored numerous journal articles, security standards specifications, and books, including the book on “Enterprise Java Security” published by Addison Wesley. Raj received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from Syracuse University.

Bryson Koehler is vice president and a distinguished engineer at IBM, as well as the chief information and technology officer of The Weather Company, an IBM Business (Weather). He is responsible for setting the strategic vision, financial planning, technical operations, direction and execution of strategic technology initiatives. In this role, he oversees Weather’s rich collection of globally scalable B2B, B2C and B2B2C products and services.

Through the architecture and global operations of industry-leading cloud-agnostic computing capabilities, large scale big data systems, the company’s internal and external APIs, digital video personalization technology, and a host of top consumer and business products, The Weather Company now operates the largest-scaled IoT data insights platform in the world.

Koehler came to Weather from Exigen Capital, a private equity firm, where he was an operating partner overseeing the firm’s investments and operations in the travel and entertainment sectors. Prior to his time at Exigen Capital, Koehler spent 10 years at InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG), the world’s largest hotel company at the time, as the senior vice president of global revenue and guest technology, leading IHG’s $25 billion revenue and distribution systems.

In 2015, Koehler’s team won the Technology Association of Georgia (TAG) Excalibur Award for best use of technology in the state of Georgia, was ranked No. 5 in the InformationWeek Elite 100 and was named to the Computerworld Leadership Association. In 2014 he was selected as the Georgia CIO of the year by the Georgia CIO Leadership Association, and his team was named as a TAG top 10 most innovative technology team in Georgia as well as one of the top 10 of the decade.

Koehler earned bachelor’s degrees in political science and interpersonal communications from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, NC. He lives in the Atlanta area and has five children. He is active in his community and serves on the board of directors for Atlanta Habitat for Humanity, TAG and San Francisco-based Revinate.

Dane Gambrill, Business Unit Executive - Cloud Video Services Asia Pacific, IBM

Dane leads the cloud video services division for the Asia Pacific region at IBM. He has worked for the Olympic Games, in IT Operations, and for the past 10 years in IBM across various sales domains. Since 2006, Dane has had a particular focus on the M&E industry having been involved in some transformational Video related projects for broadcasters, theatrical post production houses, entertainment and publishing organisations. He is also a member of the Global IBM M&E strategy team and has developed a deep expertise in business transformation while working with his clients as they compete in this connected consumer era. Dane also serves on the boards of a few organisations with core businesses in content production, music recording, publishing, education and a 24x7 broadcast that spans into 170 markets across the globe.

Vanitha Narayanan, Managing Director, IBM India Private Limited

Vanitha Narayanan is the Managing Director of IBM India Private Limited. Appointed to this leadership position in January 2013, she is responsible for all of IBM's sales, marketing, services and global delivery operations in the India/South Asia region. Having joined IBM in the US in 1987, Vanitha has over 26 years of experience working with multiple client sets and in several countries.

Vanitha was the first woman chairperson of AMCHAM India (2015-2016) and continues to serve as a member on the National Executive Board. She is a member of IBM’s Growth & Transformation Team that comprises senior Global Executives who are selected by the IBM Chairman. In 2012, Vanitha was inducted into the IBM Industry Academy, a select group of experts, designed to advance IBM’s industry thought leadership and brand. More recently, she was named as one of the 12 Global Indian Super Women of 2016 by CXOToday.

Dr. Sriram Raghavan, Director, IBM Research, India

Sriram Raghavan is the Director for IBM Research in India. In this role he is responsible for establishing and executing the technical agenda of IBM's India Research Lab (IRL), working closely with worldwide research labs and business units. Until 2015, Sriram was the senior manager of the Information & Analytics Department at IRL, where he established and drove new research directions at the intersection of large scale data management, text analytics, and distributed systems. Sriram is a member of the IBM Academy of Technology and alumnus of the Indian Institute of Technology (Madras) and Stanford University.

Ashish Kumar, Vice President, IBM Cloud, Asia Pacific

Ashish Kumar is Vice President, IBM Cloud, Asia Pacific. He is responsible for the design and execution of AP Cloud/Softlayer cross brand strategy in the geography. In this role, he provides leadership to all IBM’s brand and client teams to drive cloud transformation across Asia Pacific to drive cloud related business objectives.

An industry veteran having 24 years of experience, he has held various senior management positions. In his previous roles, Mr Kumar has been the Client Services Leader for India/ SA and was responsible for managing the relationships and delivery to all the Strategic Outsourcing (SO) clients based in the region. Prior to this role, Mr. Kumar was the Relationship Director for IBM’s strategic partnership with Bharti Airtel. He has been the Country Manager for the Small & Midmarket Business (SMB) in India & the Country Manager for Services. He has also worked in various roles including Sales Manager - ASEAN/SA for the SMB segment based in Singapore, Software Marketing, eServer group and has also been responsible for IBM India’s sales in the Southern region.

Mr. Kumar joined IBM in 1992 after a two-year stint with IIS Infotech as a project Manager. Mr. Kumar is an Engineer from Indian Institute of Technology - New Delhi, and holds a Masters in Business Administration from IIM - Calcutta. He started his career with NIIT as a consultant.

David Mast, Asia Pacific Client Success, IBM Cloud, Bluemix

David Mast is responsible for Asia Pacific Sales of IBM's cloud platform - Bluemix.

In this capacity, he is responsible for collaboration with the Ecosystems Development team, WW Bluemix sales leader, AP inside sales and field teams at IMT levels, and the interlock of the Go to Market plans for the AP IOT and each IMT.

David has held roles in Software Group's Enterprise Sales Team, as the AP Software Executive for System Integrator and Technology Partner Alliances, AP Compliance, the A/NZ Channel Manager, and way back in 1996 as the Telstra SCL.

He has been with IBM for 18 years, previously Wang Australia, and worked for many years in the Advertising Industry.

Dinesh Shetty, Executive IT Specialist, API Connect & Gateways, IBM

Dinesh is a technologist and evangelist with over 15 years of experience leading SOA and integration architecture projects, IT consulting, and application development supporting varied industries. He is a subject matter expert on the API Economy and leads worldwide implementations directing a team across geographies. Experienced in deploying long-established technologies, he has deep technical expertise in API Management platforms, leading ESB implementations like WebSphere DataPower, WebSphere Message Broker and WebSphere MQ.

Shalini Kapoor, CTO, IoT Ecosystem Solutions, IBM

Shalini drives development and architecture of new IoT solutions for ecosystem partners and also leads integration scenarios across industries and horizontal solutions which intersect through Cloud, analytics and device integrations. As a worldwide technical leader she provides directions to IBM's Global System Integrators on their IoT strategies. With over 19 years of experience, Shalini has immense experience in client facing technical roles and complex solution definition and development across industries. She is known for incubating and innovating next gen solutions and works with major clients worldwide to take these solutions to market. She is a recipient of numerous corporate and academic awards and honors.
