Hayden Lindsey
Vice President and Distinguished Engineer of Enterprise Modernization, Modeling, Construction and Compilers, IBM Rational Division.
He is based in Research Triangle Park, North Carolina, USA. In his current role, he is responsible for the Enterprise Modernization, Modeling, Construction and Compilers business, including development, product management, sales enablement and services. Hayden has worked at IBM for 24 years and has held a variety of positions, including software developer, product architect, product manager , co-leader of the Eclipse tools platform and director of the WebSphere Studio / Rational modeling and construction tools. Technically, Hayden was an early adopter of object technology and Smalltalk, applying it in the areas of code generation, debugging, RAD IDEs, and performance. He has contributed 14 patents to IBM's portfolio. Hayden is a 1985 graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he earned a BS in Mathematical Sciences.
Martin Nally

Martin Nally is an IBM Fellow and currently the Chief Technology Officer for the Rational Software division of IBM. Martin joined IBM in 1990 with 10 years' prior industry experience. He has held several architecture and development positions in IBM including lead architect and developer for IBM VisualAge/Smalltalk and VisualAge/Java. Martin was one of a team of three that launched the IBM project that later became the Eclipse framework and he led the architecture, design and development of WebSphere Studio, IBM's flagship Eclipse-based developer tool-suite that later evolved into Rational Application Developer.

Mike O'Rourke, Vice President, Rational Software Development
Mike O'Rourke is Vice President, Rational Software Development, based in Lexington, Massachusetts, USA. In his current role, he is responsible for executive leadership over Rational's distributed software development business, including the Architecture Management, Change and Release Management, Project and Portfolio Management and Quality and Requirements Management initiatives. Previous, Mike was the Director of Rational Team Products where he was responsible for the development, product management and quality engineering for Rational's Change and Release Management products. Mike came to Rational through the acquisition of BuildForge, where he was the VP of Development, IT, Product Management and Support. Mike has previous experience within IBM, as he was an early VP of Development at Tivoli when it was acquired by IBM in 1996.
Mike is a veteran of the software industry with over 25 years of development, customer support, and executive management experience for companies ranging from small start-ups to billion dollar industry leaders. He has a proven track record of successfully building some of the top technology companies in the software industry. Prior to BuildForge, Mike was Vice President of Engineering for PerformanceRetail, a provider of web-based merchandising and store operations software for the retail industry as well as VP of Customer Operations at BroadJump. He has also held key positions at Tivoli, Agillion, SupportSoft, Apollo Computer/HP, and Compugraphic Corporation/Agfa. Mike received his bachelor's degree in computer science from the University of Vermont and attended the MBA program at Boston College.

Steve Robinson
Vice President of Worldwide Sales IBM Rational Software
Steve Robinson joined IBM Rational Software Division as its Vice President of Worldwide Sales and member of its Senior Executive Team in July 2005. In this role Steve has responsibility for sales strategy and execution for the division and leads a force of over 1000 sales professionals, channel teams and an extended community of strategic relations including business partners, system integrators and ISVs.
Prior to joining Rational, Steve was the Vice President of Technical Services at Lotus, where he had responsibility for transforming the divisions' services, education, certification initiatives and was a part of the integration of Lotus into IBM.
In Steve's 21 year IBM career, he has held numerous executive and management positions. He introduced and launched technical services into IBM's software group and was an early driver of IBM's distributed application development strategy as the product manager of IBM's VisualAge family. Steve also had the honor of serving as the Executive Assistant to John M. Thompson, Vice Chairman of IBM.
Steve holds a BS degree in Business and Computer Science from Wake Forest University and an MBA from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University.

Dr. Eric Brown
Dr. Eric Brown earned his B.S. degree at the University of Vermont and M.S. and Ph.D. degrees at the University of Massachusetts, all in Computer Science. While at UMass, Eric was a member of the Center for Intelligent Information Retrieval and explored performance issues for text search systems. Eric joined IBM Research in 1995 as a Research Staff Member. Since joining IBM Eric has conducted research in information retrieval, document categorization, text analysis, question answering, and bio-informatics.
