IBM Forum 06 ran in Christchurch, Wellington and Auckland in October 2006 and attracted attendees with both an IT and business orientation. Forum registrations came from a diverse range of New Zealand enterprises of all sizes & from all sectors. IBM Forum featured:

  • Keynote speech from David Skilling, CEO of the New Zealand Institute, who talked about improving New Zealand's future economic performance.
  • Case studies from organisations such as Farmers’ Trading Company, Canterbury District Health Board, Housing New Zealand, Yakka, Toyota Financial Services, TelstraClear, SVS, Vero and The University of Auckland.
  • Sessions included Security in the Digital Age, Ageing Workforce and Corporate Compliance.
  • Interactive demonstrations included RFID technology, IP Communications, Collaboration and Information Management.

The day's agenda included thought leadership presentations, NZ case-studies and real world examples of results through innovation.
