IBM launches the annual Christmas Food Tree Program
Christmas Food Tree Program

To bless those in need with a heartwarming Christmas, IBM and St. James' Settlement have been launching the annual Christmas Food Tree Program since 2004. As an effort to support the People's Food Bank, which is a charitable service offered by St. James Settlement, non-perishable food and cash donations are collected throughout the whole December.

A unique Christmas tree, decorated with food donations, and a giant Christmas card filled with warm holiday wishes are presented at the exhibition area of Taikoo Place during Christmas.

Christmas Food Tree ProgramIBM is driving this meaningful cause in full force. Not only do IBMers contribute money, food and time to become volunteers, IBM also help to organize the program. Each year, Christmas Food Tree Program calls for participation from corporations and general public to join this program. All donations collected are forwarded to the program beneficiaries through People’s Food Bank after Christmas.
