IBM appoints Harriet Green as General Manager, IBM Asia Pacific
Singapore – 5 January 2018: IBM (NYSE: IBM) today announced the appointment of Harriet Green as general manager, IBM Asia Pacific. She replaces Randy Walker who spent three years in the role, and will return to the United States in a senior leadership position.
Ms. Green, who was most recently the global general manager, Watson Internet of Things (IoT), Customer Engagement and Education, joined IBM in September 2015 to the lead the newly created IoT and education business unit. Prior to joining IBM she spent over two years as the CEO and executive director of the Thomas Cook Group and six years as the CEO and executive director of Premier Farnell plc. Prior to Premier Farnell, Ms Green was senior vice president, Arrow Electronics Inc. where she ran its businesses in Europe, Africa and Asia – latterly as the President of Arrow Asia Pacific.
Ms. Green will be based at IBM's Asia Pacific headquarters in Singapore. Her appointment is effective immediately.
