Datastage Jobs

We are currently looking for professionals who have a clear understanding of concepts and architecture associated with business intelligence/data warehouse functions. Candidates should have minimum 3 years of experience as an ETL Developer- Data Stage (Experienced in Data Stage Enterprise Edition and Data Stage Server Edition), Knowledge of Datastage 7.5.2 version or higher is desirable,

Hands on experience in development of Datastage jobs, shared containers and job sequencers is preferred. You must have knowledge of UNIX, Shell Scripting along with SQL Concepts. You will need to have a sound knowledge of DWH and ETL processes and capability to handle additional responsibilities such as documenting the analysis, design, development, testing and maintenance processes. Candidates' proficient in designing ETL including error/suspension handling, control processing, data cleansing, and performance design are encouraged to apply. Deep expertise in Oracle RDBMS and PL-SQL, strong analytical, communication and communicational skills are crucial to data stage positions.

Data Mining Jobs

As an IBM Data Mining professional, often termed as data specialist, you interpret patterns in large quantities of data, perform trend analysis and calculate probabilities of whether certain situations will or will not occur. You will use statistical analysis to solve business problems with tools, such as SAS and STATA. Data mining skill sets are also required for jobs as Package solution consultants, Research scientists, Sales reporting professionals and Test specialists. You need be able to interpret patterns in large quantities of data, resulting in trend analysis and probabilities certain situations will/will not occur. Data mining professionals should be adept at customized reporting, results oriented attention to detail business acumen, self management, independent thinking, problem framing, teamwork, consulting skills, requirements analysis, reporting, and presentation and have excellent written communication skills.

Business Intelligence (BI) practitioners at IBM design Data and information architecture solutions which include data warehouses and decision support systems.
