SQL Developer ,SQL server /DB2 developer Jobs
The SQL developer designs, develops, and supports applications utilizing the SQL language (Structured Query Language) for relational database systems. Employees in this role use design documentation for Functional Programming Specifications and implement the identified components. They also ensure that the implemented components are unit tested and ready to be integrated into the product. Software developers also provide fixes to defects identified by the verification team during the software development life cycle. The SQL server developer designs, develops and supports application solutions with focus on DB2 applications. He may design, develop and/or re-engineer highly complex application components integrating software packages, programs and reusable objects residing on multiple platforms. Strong in Oracle, PL/SQL advanced skills and experienced in handling large transactions, Crystal Reports.Having knowledge on Unix scripting will be a plus.
Database Administration (DBA) describes the Core Skills for physical support of the production, development or test application databases for MySQL, Oracle, DB2. In this role the employee specifies, places and modifies data to support the development of SQL database solutions, and is responsible for the data used, updated and produced by the application. A SQL DBA is also responsible for Implementing and maintaining SQL databases used in the production environment. Oracle DBAs install, configure and upgrade RDBMS server software and related products. This role establishes and maintains backup and recovery policies and procedures; Implements and maintains database security; Set up and maintain documentation and standards. Administrator maintains MS SQL features and products with expertise on at least four of the following: (Replication, SQL Clustering, Standby Server, DTS, Log Shipping, SQL Mail).
DB2 DBA professionals design, develop, and support applications using DB2 products. This role requires experience with VLDBs.Physical & Logical DBA with 4-6 years of experience in UDB on AIX, HP Unix, Lunix & windows platform. DB2 UDB - Installation, Patch upgrades, Performance tuning, Clustering, Replication, Mirroring, Backup, Recovery, Trace analysis, Health.
