Providing "in demand skills for an on demand world" is the belief behind IBM's "The Great Mind Challenge" contest. It promotes students from engineering colleges across India to develop practical solutions, in a real life scenario using IBM open source software.
The key highlights of the Great Mind Challenge have been:
- Providing students an opportunity to work in an open source environment
- Students developing 21st century skills required to be successful in the work force of day
- Having to innovate their acquired knowledge into actual projects
- Mentors from the industry addressing project development queries
- Learning content through exploring the options available
We encourage students from final year batches to visit the Student Job portal at http://www.ibm.com/in/university/ to register their resumes and get them highlighted at the right forums.
Wishing you all the very best in all your endeavors and looking forward to working with you in 2007!
