Some quotes from students of The Great Mind Challenge 2007 contest winning teams:
"I come from a family of farmers, where no one has even passed SSC. It feels great to have bagged this award from a global IT company. Today I am confident. Though I wear khadi and am not very well conversant with English, I am as much of an IT wizard as any one else." said Pratik Patel
"My father's salary is less than the cost of the air ticket that took me to Mumbai for the competition. No one in my family and the place I grew up in know what 'software' means. They just stared when I told them I had been awarded for developing software." says Dilip Prajapati.

These are to name few lives that were touched by this great contest which opens a plethora of opportunities for you all. We are here to BRIDGE THE GAP.
This year again we have returned to sift and sieve after reaching the remotest Engineering/ MCA college across India to find a SUPERSTAR in XML. We will mentor you, provide you free trainings, ask for it and you get it - Free trainings and technical downloads.
Last year benefiting out of these trainings comments from Ms. D.Jeya Mala, Thiagarajar College of Engineering, Tamil Nadu, faculty mentor of a winning team TGMC 2007 - "One of our alumni Senthil Kumar passed out in the year 2007, who is the top scorer in IBM DB2 DBA certification exam is currently working as a Data Base Administrator in TCS even within one year of his career path at TCS. We can say a lot more examples like this. We must thank IBM for this. Because of the fact that IBM has initiated certification exams at the college level; the students were able to shine one step ahead in their career when compared to others."
The theme for Challenge in 2008 is "Search for XML SUPERSTAR". This will enable participants to get a hands-on experience on IBM software products, namely (Tivoli, WebSphere Application Server/WebSphere Application Server Community Edition, DB2/DB2 Express-C, WebSphere Portal and Forms and Rational) and Eclipse which is Open Source on a Linux platform.
We declare the great mind challenge 2008 open.
We are giving you a chance, will you give a chance to yourself?
