| WHAT THIS AGREEMENT COVERS |

Scope of Service:
We agree to provide Service as described below or in your invoice subject to the terms and conditions of this Agreement. Service is only available in the Hong Kong SAR.
Lenovo Protection:
Lenovo Protection provides additional Service coverage for certain accidental damage to your ThinkPad, including for example, damage caused by liquid spills on the keyboard, accidental drops and bumps of the Product, an electrical surge that damages the Product's circuitry and accidental damage to the LCD screen. Coverage of Theft or Loss for the first year ONLY applied to the ThinkPads which are registered within 30 days from the date of purchase.
Claim of Damage:
On the event of any accidental damage, which might give rise to a claim under this agreement you shall:
- Notify Lenovo as soon as possible.
- Take all reasonable steps to minimize the extent of any damage.
- Preserve damage or defective parts and make them available for inspection by Lenovo.
- Provide all information and documentary evidence with respect to the claim as Lenovo may reasonably require.
- If an on-site inspection is required but Lenovo cannot do inspection within seven (7) days due to environmental/weather conditions or other relevant factors, Lenovo may not proceed with such repair or replacement.
- Bear maximum HK$2,000 of the total repair cost which including part and labour. If the total repair cost is less than HK$2,000, you shall pay for the actual cost of repairing. On the other hand, if the total repair cost is more than HK$2,000, you only need to pay HK2,000 for the repairing.
Claim of theft or loss*:
Coverage of Theft or Loss for the first year ONLY applied to the ThinkPads which are registered within 30 days from the date of purchase.
On the event of any theft or loss, you shall:
- File a police report with your local police reporting.
- Notify Lenovo of the theft within 7 working days after making a police report.
- Complete the necessary claim form.
- Provide all information and documentary evidence with respect to the forcible entry as Lenovo may reasonably require.
- Bear HK$2,000 of the replacement cost which including parts and labour.
If we repair your Product, you understand and agree that we may replace original parts with parts from the original manufacturer, or a different one. Replacement parts of Product may not be new, but will be in good working order and at least functionally equivalent to the item replaced. When a Product or its parts are replaced, each replaced item becomes Lenovo property and the replacement becomes yours. Only preload software will be installed back on the replacement.
* Each machine can only apply one claim of Theft or Loss.
This Agreement is not a warranty. The Product you purchase from us may also come with a limited warranty from Lenovo or third party manufacturers of Products we distribute. Please consult our limited warranty statements for your rights and remedies under those limited warranties. |

| WHAT THIS AGREEMENT DOES NOT COVER: |
- External peripherals and accessories (e.g., external keyboards, external mice, printers, scanners, external drives, tape back up systems) even if these are sold by Lenovo.
- Third party Products (those not bearing the Lenovo logo) even if these are sold by Lenovo.
- Damage from intentional misuse, modification, and unsuitable physical or operating environment, improper maintenance by anyone other than us or our authorized service providers, removal of original parts or alteration of a Product or identification labels, or damage caused by a Product not covered under this agreement.
- Damage from Fire, Flood, Sand, Dirt, Weather or other external Factors.
- Cleanings, Adjustments and Preventive maintenance. It is not necessary that you perform any preventive maintenance on the Product to obtain repair or replacement of a Product covered by this Agreement.
- Theft by you or any of your employees and / or family members.
- Theft / Loss outside HKSAR.
- Theft or attempted theft not accompanied by forcible and violent entry.
- Consequential loss of any kind.

| LIMITED WARRANTY |

Lenovo warrants that Lenovo will perform Service using reasonable care and skill.
NO OTHER EXPRESS WARRANTIES ARE PROVIDED TO YOU. ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES ARE LIMITED TO THE TERMS OF THIS AGREEMENT. NO INFORMATION OR ADVICE (WRITTEN OR ORAL) PROVIDED TO YOU BY US OR OUR CONTRACTORS, WILL CREATE A WARRANTY BY US OR INCREASE THE SCOPE OF THIS SERVICE AGREEMENT. |

| LIMITED OF LIABILITY |

OUR LIMIT OF LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM UNDER THIS AGREEMENT IS THE COST TO REPAIR YOUR COVERED PRODUCT IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE TERMS OF THIS AGREEMENT, NOT TO EXCEED THE COMBINED PURCHASE PRICE OF THE COVERED PRODUCT AND THE AGREEMENT PER CLAIM.
PLEASE NOTE, UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES ARE WE JOINTLY OR SEVERALLY LIABLE FOR ANY OF THE FOLLOWING: (1) THIRD-PARTY CLAIMS AGAINST YOU FOR LOSSES OR DAMAGES; (2) LOSS OF, OR DAMAGE TO, YOUR RECORDS, FILES OR DATA; OR (3) SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, INDIRECT, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES (INCLUDING LOST REVENUE, PROFITS OR SAVINGS), EVEN IF WE ARE INFORMED OF THEIR POSSIBILITY. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF SUCH DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. |

| GENERAL |

Nothing in this Agreement affects any statutory rights of consumers that cannot be waived or limited by contract.
You may not assign, or otherwise transfer, this Agreement or your rights under it, or delegate your obligations, without prior written consent. Any attempt to do so will void the Agreement.
In the event that any provision of this Agreement is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions of this Agreement remain in full force and effect.
All your rights and all Lenovo's obligations are valid only in the country in which Lenovo provides the Service. The Service under this package will be provided only in the country in which you purchased the package.
The Laws of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region govern the Agreement. |
