Definition of terms

   

OSR (On-site Repair) - On-site service in normal business hours is performed between 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday, (local time) excluding public holidays and 24 hours, 7 days a week service coverage are available within 25 km diameter from IBM Office in Hanoi & Ho Chi Minh City.

Target Response - Times Enhanced 4 hour response times are available within 25 km diameter from IBM Office in Hanoi & Ho Chi Minh City and Danang service centres. If IBM cannot resolve your hardware problem by phone, a service technician can arrive at your location within the target response time. Your response time is measured from the time your call is logged to the moment a technician arrives on-site.

On-site repair for ThinkPads - To receive End of Next Business Day response, a call must be logged with IBM by 5pm (local time) on the day of initial call placement. On-site service for ThinkPads is available within 25 km diameter from IBM Office in Hanoi & Ho Chi Minh City. On-site service will only be delivered in business Locations.

CCIR (Customer Carry-In Repair) - It is the customer's responsibility to deliver and pick up their machine from IBM Capital City locations from IBM Office in Hanoi & Ho Chi Minh City.

NBD - Next Business Day.

E2BD - End of 2nd Business Day

P/L/O - Parts & Labour & On-site Repair
