The IBM Open Computing Centre (OCC) is designed to:
Promote the adoption of Open Standards and Open Source technology particularly in the area of Linux and Web Services by general industry.
Provide training and enablement of IBM Linux and Web Services Technology to partners and customers locally, through fly-in experts and/or via overseas residency programs at IBM Labs around the world.
Perform and undertake pilot or commercial development projects based involving on IBM Linux and Web Services Technology for partners and customers.
