The IBM Academic Initiative System z and the IBM Master the Mainframe Contest Team would like to thank all of the students and educators who contributed to making the 2007 IBM Master the Mainframe Contest a success. With 710 students registering to compete from 40 universities across Thailand, the field was especially competitive.

The competition in Part 3 was extraordinarily tough. A special congratulations to all of the students who were talented (and brave!) enough to tackle the very difficult Part 3 challenges, for which they were given their own individual z/OS systems. This year's Part 3 winners:
1st place: Komsit Rattana, Chulalongkorn University
2nd place: Nuttapol Sangsuriyachot, Chulalongkorn University
3rd place: Thanan Triongthawon, Chulalongkorn University
All of these students have demonstrated exceptional intelligence, perseverance and, of course, exemplary mainframe skills. Congratulations on all of your remarkable efforts and achievements!
