Leading the way with Cultural Diversity

IBM operates across nine time zones in 170 countries and our people speak more than 70 languages. This diversity is one of our greatest strengths, enabling us to bring the best talent and ideas together to create innovative products and services and solve our clients' problems. In this global economy, we believe cultural insight is just as important as technical ability.

We are already proud of our people culture, and we are committed to doing even more. Our people tell us that our culture of global teaming and our focus on being essential make IBM a great place to build their careers. Our clients tell us that diversity have contributed to the effectiveness of our teams, our relationship building and our provision of high-caliber people.

To make sure that our people are sensitive to the cultural differences in global working practices, we provide them with learning programs, workshops and tools to help them to work with different cultures.
